Mississippi Soccer is proud to be sanctioned by the USOPC, U.S. Soccer & USYS to oversee the Olympic Development Program (ODP) for the state of Mississippi. ODP provides youth players in our state with the opportunity to potentially supplement their local playing experience with State, Regional and National Team playing experiences. We are committed to providing a safe environment for every ODP player to play, learn, and enjoy the game.
In order to be eligible for MS ODP selection (& beyond), players (2018-2010 Birth Years) must register & participate in the November/December “MS ODP ID Events”. Players will be selected/invited to remaining seasonal year ODP Events based on their performance with ODP &/or their local club team.

- Tryouts: Birth Year 2018-2010 = $75 | ODP Training Shirt provided
ODP Program Registration (Opens after Tryout Selections)
- Birth Years 2018-2017 = $300 | 3 training sessions/ Total 12 hours | Inter-Squad Season Finale
- February session serves as the season finale, providing players with an exciting opportunity to showcase their progress, compete alongside peers from across the program, and finish the year with a fun, spirited match atmosphere. The emphasis remains on development, sportsmanship, and celebrating the collective work accomplished throughout the season.
- Birth Years 2016-2013 = $725 | 3 training sessions (12 Hrs) | 2 Events | Training shirt
- 2016’s season will conclude with Memphis Interregional Event
- Birth Years 2012-2010 = $550 | 3 training sessions (12 Hrs) | 1 Event | Training shirt
- Eligible for selection to Pool games within Interregional Memphis event as well as region pool invitation for June and July events.
Registration Agreement Clause
By submitting registration and payment for the Mississippi ODP program, the participant acknowledges and agrees that enrollment constitutes a full commitment for the designated seasonal year. All fees are non‑refundable, except in cases of verified, season‑ending injury. Any request for an injury‑related refund must include supporting documentation from a licensed MD and will be reviewed for eligibility.
State Teams Navy and White will be selected for the Interregional Event in Memphis prior to the February 7, training session. All State Pool players will be assigned to either Team Navy (Top Tier) or Team White as part of the official team placement process. Only birth years 2018 and 2017 are excluded from events. Additionally, 2016s are excluded from regional consideration based on the USYS ODP National Platform guidelines.
Scholarship requests are considered, with notification of awards after registration deadline.
