Player: Interstate Release Request

US Youth Soccer has updated its registration policy for players who live in one state and play for a club in another.

Players must now register with the US Youth Soccer State Association where they participate, rather than where they reside.

For Mississippi Soccer Association:

  • Players participating with an MSA-affiliated club should register through Mississippi Soccer Association, regardless of their state of residence.
  • Players participating with a club in another USYS State Association should register with that State Association.

This change simplifies the registration process by eliminating the need for residency-based registration and most interstate permission forms.

For questions, please contact Leah (leah@mssoccer.org) at the Mississippi Soccer Association.
