U13-U19 USYS Mississippi State Cup

State Cup seeding for the first round will be determined based on the most recent head-to-head result between USYS National League Mid South Premier I and Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) teams, provided the match was played using MSA-approved rosters and occurred before the Monday preceding the first weekend of the State Cup. If there is only one team representing Mississippi in these leagues, that team will be seeded before proceeding to the next round.

The next round of seeding will be determined based on USYS Mid South Premier I final conference standings. If standings aren’t finalized by the Monday preceding the first weekend of the State Cup, current standings will be used. If there is only one team representing Mississippi in Premier I, that team will be seeded before proceeding to the next round.

The next round of seeding will be determined based on USYS Mid South Premier II head-to-head results. If no match occurred or it ended in a tie, final conference standings as of the Monday preceding the first weekend of the State Cup will be used. If there is only one team representing Mississippi in Premier II, that team will be seeded before proceeding to the next round.

The next round of seeding will be determined based on the most recent head-to-head result, in the following order of priority:

1. MSA Sanctioned Tournament
2. Other Competitions

The final rounds of seeding will be allocated via blind draw in the following order of priority:

1. Competitive Team
2. Rec Plus Team

It is likely that your team WILL NOT have to participate on Qualification Weekend. We will communicate after registration closes to confirm.

Our State Cup Champion earns the right to represent the State of Mississippi at the USYS Southern Regional Championships (June). There, they have the opportunity to compete for a spot at the USYS National Championships (July) where they will have chance to win a USYS National Championship.

Our State Cup Finalist earns the right to represent the State of Mississippi at the USYS Southern Presidents Cup (June). There, they will have the opportunity compete for a spot at the USYS National Presidents Cup (July) where they will have chance to win a USYS National Presidents Cup Championship.

Doing well at our State Cup bolsters your application for USYS National League Mid South Conference Premier I & II for the following seasonal year. Registration/application generally opens in June.
