Our 2nd Annual LEADERSHIP SUMMIT will be held at The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center by Sheraton in Flowood, MS on Sunday, August 4, 2024. 

  • What: Mississippi Soccer Leadership Summit
  • Why: To kick off the new seasonal year by providing an opportunity for Mississippi Soccer to collectively reflect on the 2023-24 Seasonal Year in order to GROW in the upcoming 2024-25 Seasonal Year.
    • Areas to GROW: State Cup, Rec Open Cup, Safe Soccer, & Registration
    • Awards Luncheon: 2022-23 & 2023-24 “OF THE YEAR” Award Winners will be celebrated
  • Who: Club Board Members, Club Executive Leaders, Club Technical Leaders, & Club Administrative Leaders
  • When: Sunday, August 4, 2024, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Optional 1:1 Meetings with Kyle (GotSport) from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Schedule HERE)
    • 9:00 AM: Check-In, Coffee & Connect
    • 10:00 AM: Welcome & State of the Association
    • 10:30 AM: U13-U19 State Cup Workshop
    • 11:30 AM: U9-U12 State Cup WorkShop
    • 12:15 PM: Awards Luncheon (All Leadership Summit RSVP’s & “OF THE YEAR” Award Winners)
    • 1:45 PM: Safe Soccer Workshop
    • 3:00 PM: Rec Open Cup Workshop
    • 4:00 PM: Coffee & Connect
    • 4:15 PM: Admin Assist Workshop
    • 5:00 PM: Conclude

  • Please complete the Pre-Leadership Summit Survey HERE by July 1, 2024!
    • Survey responses will help us objectively reflect on the past season and provide potential solutions during the summit.
  • Please submit your Mississippi Soccer 2023-24 “OF THE YEAR” Award Nominations HERE by July 1, 2024!
    • Winners will be celebrated at our Leadership Summit Awards Luncheon.
Due no later than July 14, 2024
  • Please RSVP HERE to confirm your attendance at this year’s Leadership Summit by July 14, 2024!
    • We kindly request that each club have a minimum of one administrative leader/representative and one technical leader/representative in attendance.
